Breaking Dawn Part 1

Well Twilight's Breaking Dawn part 1 came out this weekend and my older brother's girlfriend wanted to watch it so I got invited along too. Luckily my brother bought my ticket! ^^ I'm so thankful~ Kekeke

Back to the main reason for this post~
I am not a humongous Twilight fan. But I have read and own the books. I love the series and wish it would never have ended.
But the movies were ruined by the chosen main actors.
I have disliked the other movies in this series because of the horrible acting from Kristen and Robert. I just can't get over the awkward acting, eye-blinking, weird twitching/mannerisms that Kristen had throughout the movies. And Robert's awkwardness and constant constipated expression.
BUT in Breaking Dawn, it wasn't that much of an issue. The awkward acting was actually a tiny bit better. So you could actually sit throughout the movie without having to cringe as much and constantly wonder how they were chosen for this movie.

Truthfully, (not bashing) I pictured Bella to be much more beautifuler, innocent, and sweeter. And Edward to be better looking.....

*SPOILER FOR THE MOVIE*
They did follow the story line, but unfortunately since they have to cram all the storyline into such a small amount of time, everything felt rushed. Little details that added into the story were taken out.
One example is the part where they are on their honeymoon and the part where Bella is constantly eating eggs because of her unknown pregnancy.
They added in a little horror scene, where Bella has a nightmare, where she is at her wedding and when she gets to the altar and looks out the crowd of people are gone. She looks at Edward to find blood on him and then herself to find blood on her hands. And then down to the huge pile of dead family and friends. I thought was a little unnecessary, but I realize it was to show that Bella was a little afraid of herself when she becomes a vampire.
We got to see a little bit of Jacob's side of the story in the movie. But not much I feel.
The best part I thought was the scene where Jacob imprints on Renesmee. In his mind, he gets flashes of scenes of the future. Of himself with Renesmee in the future. I liked this scene the most because we got to see Renesmee grown up, and together with Jacob. The actress who plays Renesmee is so beautiful. :)

Overall, I was not disappointed with the movie compared to the other ones. I thought the wedding scenes were wonderful~ I know in the novel this is the honeymoon book filled with tons of kissing and the such. But there was so much kissing/making out and nakedness, I don't know why but I felt so awkward watching it... Maybe it's just me... Anyways, I enjoyed it. (:
I can't wait until Part 2 comes out. We get to see Bella discover her Shield powers, a better look at Renesmee, and the Volturi.

heels heels heels nails nails nails

AHHHHHH~ My heels finally came!! I recently bought them on eBay because you can no longer find them in stores. They are Forever 21 Floral Mary Jane heels! :D I saw them in stores a long time ago and I wanted to purchase them but I wasn't in love with them at that time, so I just left. But after time, I fell in love with them and now I found them. Unfortunately I paid $10 more than the retail price.... BUT I am thankfully that I now own my pair of these babies~

Other than that~ I decided that I shall do a DIY soon! I have painted my nails and received so many compliments that I wanted to share how people can do this to themselves in the future (: It is....... Rainbow cheetah nails! ^-^

Unfortunately, I just painted them, so I have to wait until they chip away till I can start from scratch and show a step-by-step tutorial. Please look forward to it in the future ;)

The Holidays

Can't believe how quickly time is flying by.
Thanksgiving is already next Thursday and a month later it is Christmas! Thinking about the holidays gets in me in such a good mood~ Hehehe

My friend and I held a Christmas party for our friends last year and it was such a blast. The work and time we put into it was tiring and we were so drained. But the party itself and the after joy was so worth it. We played secret santa, and it was my first time playing. I can't remember what I gave my chosen person, but my secret santa got me a pikachu plushie! It was so cute (:

This year my friend hit me up and told me that we should plan another party. I was a little hesitant at first because I felt that the planning and expense would be too much. But she said that we will make it more "chill" this year. Hahaha. So I agreed and now we are mid-planning for this party. Well, more like we just made a Facebook event and invited the people we wanted. Still my hostess genes are kicking in, and it makes me want to bake all kinds of cupcakes, cookies, and snacks. And wondering what kind of decorations should be put up or bought. I know that my friend said this party will be more informal and whatnot. But I really want to make it memorable. All in all, I am stressing and wondering how much it will cost me to pull off this little party/get-together. Hopefully everything will pan out well in the end. ^-^

Close Call....

Tonight my friends and I decided to go up north to watch a break dance battle that another friend of mine was competing in. We went and it was fun and exciting. I am truly amazed and jealous of how the break dancers make it look so easy. I even got to see three b-girls today. It inspired me (though I probably won't get into break dancing because I don't have the body strength too. I can do a baby freeze though! :D), it made me want to break out in (hip hop) dance. Kekeke. (:

Anyways, back to the story. So after the battle (my friend's crew was in the finals, but got second place... :[ They were so good too!), my friends and I are starving so we wander the area a little looking for a place to eat but with no hope. We then decide to go back home and eat at the Applebees there since it closes late.

Everything is fine and we are almost home, about 10-15 minutes left driving on the highway. But on the highway something bad happens... My friend that is in the passenger seat, and I in the driver seat, are singing along to song that is playing. I noticed up ahead that something is wrong, but it doesn't click in my head until I realize that the car that was driving ahead of me had stopped and was trying to turn into the next lane. (We are driving in the very left side of the highway). There is two other cars stopped with bad damage done to both cars (car accident). We still have a few yards, I slam on the breaks. But I realized that something is wrong; we aren't stopping quick enough. I could even feel the tires sliding down the road. Without time to think, I swerve the wheel so that we won't collide into the car ahead of us or into the accident. I didn't even have the time to double check that there was no cars in the next lane. I could only pray that there was no cars in the next lane. And thankfully there was not. But the car swerved and drifted a little in the next lane and we were slightly perpendicular to the highway lanes on next lane from the car accident. And thankfully the car that was in the next lane (the lane that we are now in) had quick working breaks. Because she stopped 10 feet from us. After about 10 seconds to catch our breath, I slowly pulled out and continued to drive down the highway.

Somehow, someway. We got lucky. We burned a little rubber and left a small burning smell in the car, but other than that. We got away from an accident without a scratch. We got very, very lucky.

During the slow motion moment when I swerved the car and we were drifting. I thought "This is it. I might crash or die in this moment. This car might not be able to handle the swerve and decide to flip over. Or an incoming car might hit us once we swerve." I still clearly remember the dread and thought of it ending so quickly without time to even think. Such a scary and surreal moment of my life.

In my two years of driving, I have never once gotten in a car accident. I am glad that tonight was not the first. I would not know how to handle, if either of my two friends had gotten hurt. I was so frightened for my friends, imagining them getting hurt because I didn't have more control over the car, was such devastating thought.

Another factor in this event, is that I was not driving my own car. I was driving my friend's car (she was in the passenger seat). She was a newbie driver and drove up north, but it was a rocky and slightly uncomfortable ride because she was still trying to get used to driving on the highway. So she told me to drive home because I usually drove home well since we went up north and down frequently this past month. It was my second time driving in her car on the highway. Her car is newly bought, but it is a old used car, made in 2001. I know that if it was my car, my breaks would have stopped us in time and we wouldn't have had to swerve. But all cars are not the same, inside and out.

I may not be fully Christian. But I thank the Lord that my friends and I are now home safe and sound. Tonight has been a heart-thumping night. Scary how one moment can have you thinking many different thoughts and what-ifs. How one moment could end your life, without you even getting the chance to realize what happened and what is going on.

Really makes one think. I am currently flustered on what to think. So many thoughts going through my head. Hahaha. Well, that's all for tonight, I should get some rest. (:

Very First Post!

This is my very first post on my own blog! I can say I am really excited to begin, I've been telling myself over and over that I should start a blog but never got around to it. Now that I have, I am starting to get a little nervous too. Kekeke ^^ This blog doesn't specifically have one topic; it will more be tidbits from my life, some DIYs, and perhaps a little fashion? Not entirely sure myself what is going to happen on this blog, but let's find out with time. (:
